Lynchburg, VA -
Randolph College (web) is right in the middle of a two day celebration welcoming their new president, and showcasing many of the school's unique offerings. Performing arts took center stage Friday afternoon.
Students had to bring their annual Greek play, Elektra, indoors because of the weather. But that didn't take anything out of the performance. The play has been a school tradition since 1909. But, this is the first time men have been included in the cast.
Amy Cohen, Randolph College - "It was a new sort of energy, I think. But, the same interest in doing something that you can't do in other places that I have been privileged to experience ever since I started doing this in 2000. So, it was a mix of old and new."
Saturday morning, Randolph College will hold an inauguration ceremony for new college President John Klein.
