Lynchburg, VA - Big South rivals VMI and Liberty lock horns this Saturday night at 7 in Lynchburg.
The Flames have beaten the Keydets the last three meetings, including last year's 38-26 victory in Lexington.
Liberty enters the game 6-2, VMI is 2-and-6. But the Keydets won a conference road game two weeks ago and their triple-option offense is a handful for any defense that requires special preparation.
Danny Rocco, Flames 6-2 This Season, said, "You know we need to win this game out here Saturday night and then Abegesah will be gone, Hughes will be gone, Maypray will be gone. Those guys seem like they've been there forever. And they have accumulated thousands and thousands of yards."
Will Quarles, Flames Senior Tight End, said, "They go hard, they're very disciplined. No matter what, they don't look at the scoreboard, don't look at the time, they just play. So you know to be honest, the only thing we can do is just finish, play hard and finish."
