Police have arrested a man in the bizarre case where a cabbie under attack slammed his van into a Roanoke fire station. The incident happened about 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
Police have now charged 46-year old William Lee Craft Jr. with attempted robbery.
The cabbie says Craft assaulted him and tried to rob him, so the driver crashed the taxi into Fire Station Number One.
Both men went to the hospital. Craft was arrested upon release.
