Campbell Co., VA - Officials in Campbell County were forced to dam part of a creek to block a diesel fuel leak from spreading, all this because of an accident caused by two rams on Route 24.
Troopers say the accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Monday, when a woman driving a pickup truck struck two rams on Colonial Highway.
Police say the woman was stopped on a bridge, when an oncoming dump truck approached and couldn't avoid hitting the pickup.
The collision damaged the bridge and sent diesel fuel into the creek below. Troopers had to dam off the creek to contain the spill and close the bridge until V-DOT can assess its safety.
We're told neither driver was not injured, but both rams did die.
No word yet on charges.
