From Rembrandt to Roller Derby, we have a little bit of everything this weekend.
The Taubman Museum of Art is opening a new exhibit of the 17th-century Dutch art master, Rembrandt. The portrait-master's etchings will be on display in celebration of the museum's one year anniversary.
And come to Poplar Forest this Saturday for the first-ever Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival. Jefferson himself was a wine-connoisseur and it was his dream to produce wine-making grapes in Virginia. From 12 to 5 Saturday you can celebrate with Virginia winemakers who realized that dream.
And make way for roller derby or get pushed to the ground. Lynchburg's Blackwater Rollers will be taking on the Chemical Valley Roller Girls at A-J's skate world in Appomattox Saturday. Doors open at 6:00, the match starts at 7:00.
Finally, it's what millions of teens across the country have been looking forward to sink their teeth into. New Moon, the second movie of the Twilight saga, opens at Midnight Friday. Better get your tickets in advance this one is sure to sell out.
