The Hokies have had UVa's number of late in their annual showdown. Tech has won the last five in a row, nine of the last 10.
In fact, the last UVa quarterback to beat the Hokies back in 2003, current Houston Texans starter Matt Schaub.
Vic Hall and the Cavs almost pulled the trick last year in Blacksburg, leading 14-7 at the half before Tech rallied to win 17-14.
So while it's been a tough year in Charlottesville, the Hokies need only turn on last year's tape to know the Cavs will be more than ready.
Frank Beamer, 13-9 Overall vs. UVa, said, "You know tough game throughout and we were lucky to win it in the fourth quarter. Kick a field goal and you know we know exactly what to expect."
Tyrod Taylor, 13 TD's, 3 Ints. This Season, said, "The two corners are very fast, they know how to play the ball when it's in the air, their safeties are very solid. It's gonna be a challenge but I look forward to the challenge. I believe that our receivers can go out there and make plays against any defenders in the nation."
