Campbell Co., VA - Can you say undefeated state champions? That's what the Brookville Bees are shooting for Saturday at noon against 12-and-1 James Monroe in the Division 3 state title game. Last week, the Bees crushed Richlands 47-0 in the semifinals. Now Brookville needs one win for a perfect 14-and-0 season.
Logan Thomas, Bees Senior Quarterback - "Confident but not cocky. That's the way we're trying to look at. We know we've got a good team, we know if we play our game we can play with anybody in the state."
Stacey Houston, Bees Senior Tailback - "They play with a lot of emotion, you can see on their film that they're always hyped, they're always excited, they’re ready to go every play. And they're fast, they're physical, they fly to the ball."
Jeff Woody, Brookville Bees Head Coach - "I've never been a part of a perfect season or a state championship game season so this is a wonderful opportunity for Brookville High School, for the community. These kids like I said have worked hard to do it and how storybook that it's against James Monroe."
