Madison Heights, VA - It was frightening night shift for a manager at an Amherst County convenience store. He was held up just after midnight Tuesday at the Smile Gas in Madison Heights.

Investigators say a man came in with a silver colored gun, demanded money, and then ran off with a small amount. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a white hooded shirt, black coat, blue jeans, tan work boots and a black stocking cap.  If you have any tips, call crime stoppers at 1-888-798-5900.
