Justin Feldkamp joined ABC 13 News as a Sports Anchor/Reporter in April 2007. He came to the Heart of Virginia from another ABC affiliate in West Virginia.
Since joining the ABC 13 sports team, Justin and Sports Director Dennis Carter have been awarded the Virginia Association of Broadcasters Outstanding Sports Coverage for "Football Friday" and the Virginia Associated Press Best Year Round Sports Coverage.
In April of 2014, Justin earned The Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters Best Sports Anchor of the Year Award and teamed with Dennis Carter to win The Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters Best Year-Round Sports Coverage Award.
Justin has also covered the Hokies trip to the Orange Bowl, the hiring of UVa basketball coach Tony Bennett, Lynchburg College's trip the NCAA softball championships, and NASCAR at Martinsville. Justin was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and is still an avid follower of the Reds, Bengals and Xavier Musketeers. He attended Ohio University where he graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.
While at Ohio U. he was the Sports Director at WOUB where he was a reporter for the Emmy-award winning show Gridiron Glory. He also did play-by-play for both the baseball and women's basketball teams. Justin has also interned at WCPO in Cincinnati and 700 WLW radio.
Justin and his wife Kimberly have two children and live in Lynchburg.
