Lauren is a General Assignment Reporter for ABC 13 News. A native Virginian, she grew up in Hampton Roads and earned her Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Before moving to Lynchburg, Lauren worked as a New Media Content Producer for WWBT NBC 12 in Richmond. There she reported on community events and produced popular online segments called "Cheap Eats, 12 About Town, and NBC Road Trips.
In the summer of 2008 Lauren worked for MTV's Choose or Lose Street Team as a correspondent. During the 2008 election Lauren had the opportunity cover candidates Barack Obama and Sarah Palin for the MTV's Choose or Lose Team. Lauren's stories about the election were featured on MTV's Election wrap up special.
In her spare time she enjoys reading biographies, visiting historic sites, and traveling.
