You know what I simply cannot tolerate?
Morons at a sporting event that become belligerent and make threats to the players on the field or court. I saw this on Monday night at the Hillcats game. One fan threw a beer onto a Winston-Salem player and then another fan tossed his beer on the ground (near children sitting with their family) and began to verbally attack a Winston-Salem player.
I'm guessing there were others at the game that had the same thought as I did while watching this - there's certain people that deserve to get punched in the face. Both of those guys did.
Both of them were thrown out of the game. It's a shame Hillcats fans may develop a stigma as bad fans. 1,248 people were there and TWO were bad examples for everyone.
I'm all for having a good time and drinking some colds ones at a game... but don't be a moron.
Oh and on top of that, they're wasting beer. That's never a good idea.
