Reporter: Dhomonique Ricks

Appomattox, VA - The Town of Appomattox will be growing. Town Council voted unanimously  Monday to extend the boundary line to include the future site of the Museum of the Confederacy.

Mayor Paul Harvey says the extension will allow the town to extend sewer service to the museum. The county now has to vote on this. That vote is scheduled to take place on Monday.

Harvey says he is pretty sure it will be approved. Site preparations are estimated to begin next month.
