Exercise can have a variety of benefits for kids, but what is the most effective way to do it?
According to a new study, high intensity exercises like fast sprints are more beneficial for kids than more traditional exercises like long distance running. Researchers studied two groups of kids. They found those who participated in sprints more quickly cut their risk factors for heart disease, like sugar and blood pressure levels.
They say the results show that brief, intense exercise is an efficient way to improve heart health.
