Lynchburg, VA - ABC 13 partnered with a Lynchburg theater to raise money for Centra's new pediatric wing Thursday.
The Little Theater Players of Lynchburg put on the comedy show. Tickets were $15, and all the money raised goes to the Here to Help Kids project. That will help build the pediatric wing at Lynchburg General.
Actors say its a variety-comedy show with skits performed decades ago, by the likes of Carol Burnette and Abbot and Costello.
It really is an enjoyable experience, even for people who have not seen that comedy, to be able to be affected by that, they enjoy it," said Tony Quaranta, Director.
The show runs Friday night and next weekend at the Holiday Inn Select in Downtown Lynchburg.
