Bedford, VA - Some Bedford Middle School students worked up a sweat Tuesday, dancing to moves by pop star Beyonce.
The dance routine was part of First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" Campaign to fight childhood obesity.
Across the country, kids learned this four minute dance routine by Beyonce, and grooved it out at 1:42 p.m. on the dot.
About 200 Bedford middle-schoolers participated in the dance number. Teachers say the experience has gotten a lot their students excited about exercising, and helped them build confidence.
"Once the kids started moving, and listening to the music, a smile would come on their face. Even the kids that don't talk much joined in, and kids that don't normally participate in class have this week," said Ethan Lucas, P. E. & Health Teacher for Bedford Middle School.
If you would like to learn the moves the kids learned, you can watch it on YouTube.
