The Tulsa Shock's number one draft pick has landed in Tulsa.
Elizabeth Cambage, the 6'8" center from Australia, posted a message to her Twitter account Wednesday afternoon, quote "Oh yeah, I'm about to land in Tulsa, just quietly haha."
Cambage is finally arriving for the beginning of Shock camp after visa complications delayed her getting here.
The 19-year-old international star was selected with the second overall pick in last month's WNBA Draft. She averaged 22.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game for the Bulleen Boomers of the Women's National Basketball League in Australia.
She was the leading scorer and shot blocker in the league and was named the WNBL Most Valuable Player.
The Tulsa Shock open their second season in Tulsa with a pre-season game on May 29th. The first regular season game is June fourth at San Antonio and the first home game is June tenth, also against San Antonio.
