Lynchburg, VA - Humanitarian awards were given to those promoting diversity Wednesday in Lynchburg.
It's the 44th annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner sponsored by the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. Our very own Noreen Turyn was the mistress of ceremonies.
There were five honorees, including local teachers, CEOs and non-profit officers. The organization promotes respect for diversity in age, race and religion.
