James reports from the ABC 13 Danville Newsroom, where he focuses on the latest news from Pittsylvania and Halifax Counties.
James joined the ABC 13 news team in July 2011. As a journalism student in the Penn State College of Communications, James was a reporter and anchor for the news program, Centre County Report, a weekly televised newscast in 29 counties in Central Pennsylvania and Western New York. During the summer of 2010, he was an intern for Nightly News in the NBC Washington Bureau in Washington DC.
James graduated with a broadcast journalism degree from Penn State University. He earned two minors in international relations and history. James spent the spring of 2010 living and studying in Rome, Italy. He loves to travel, experience new places, and meet new people. Originally from Somers, NY, just north of New York City, James is excited to now be living in Danville.
