Lynchburg, VA - In the final hours before the voting ends for Lynchburg to win cash for a new dog park supporters took to Monument Terrace today for one more rally.
"Friends of the Dog Park" organized this event to urge everyone to get out and use their last two votes in the PetSafe Bark for Your Park contest.
If Lynchburg wins we'll get $100,000 to build every dogs dream. That's why Kathy Comninaki was front and center waving a sign.
"I sort of decided that I didn't want to live anywhere that didn't have a dog park," Comninaki said. "We've been traveling to Roanoke and Charlottesville and we're tired of that. We want ours here."
Voting for the 15 finalists ends at midnight tonight and you get two votes per day so now is the time to make it count.
Local supporters say we should know by the end of the week who won .
