The headline of this story gives me goosebumps! That's because it's a dream coming to fruition. For those who know me, pageantry has also been a passion. I feel as if now I am in a place in my life where it makes a lot of sense to run for a statewide title…and that is what I will be doing very soon.
Recently, I was crowned Miss Southwest Virginia USA. I am so honored to have been selected for this position. It is such a humbling experience to represent a good chunk of the state.
Now, I head to Miss Virginia USA.
The journey has been a lot of work and I am enjoying every minute of it. In fact, one thing a lot of people don't realize is how many people are behind the scenes helping you reach your full potential. For instance, I work with a pageant coach, personal trainer, nutritionist, stylist, and my fantastic team with Miss Southwest Virginia USA…not to mention tons of supporters. With that being said, I have to say ‘thank you' to them for helping me advance thus far in the competition.
