Lynchburg, Va. - Huntington, WV has won $100,000 to build a new dog park.
The winner was announced on PetSafe's website Friday evening.
Lynchburg was one of 15 finalists competing to win the Petsafe's Bark for your Park contest.
Mayor Joan Foster spoke at the announcing ceremony and said she was still proud of the community for voting. She also assured the people that with hard work, Lynchburg could still get a new dog park.
