Lynchburg, VA - The Friends of the Lynchburg Dog Park say they reached their one-week fundraising goal of $5,000.
Last week, an anonymous donor promised to donate $5,000 toward the fund to build a new dog park as long as the community matched it.
Dog Park supporters say that now puts them $10,000 closer to the goal.
Several other fundraising events are being planned for the next few weeks.
