Piedmont District's Tunstall Trojans kick off their season August 26 at home against Dan River.
It's Head Coach Buddy Brown's 26th year, and he returns six starters on offense, seven on defense from last year's 3-8 squad.
Both Brown and his players say this season is going to be different with stronger team chemistry.
I like the character of the bunch, and I like the chemistry of this team. Football is the ultimate team sport," said Brown. "If you have got those two things, that's two positives in your court."
Tim Yates, a senior defensive end and offensive linebacker agrees.
"When your teammate is down it helps you to get them back up. It makes you feel better about yourself personally. It makes you play better as well," said Yates.
