Saturday night is the Blackwater Roller's first time facing a co-ed team. The Lynchburg women's flat track roller derby team will go against East Coast Devastation at the AJ Skateworld rink in Appomattox. The bout starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids.

The Union Street Theater in downtown Danville is also hosting a fundraiser on Friday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. The "Best of Broadway" fundraiser will feature the area's best vocalists, showcasing both classic and contemporary Broadway selections.

Also in Danville, you can jam to the tunes of Jimmy Buffett at the Margaritaville 2011 fundraiser for the Museum of Fine Arts and History. The event is 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $30 at the door or $25 in advance. The Margaritaville-themed event will have a DJ, food and drinks.

The 2nd Annual Clover Hill Village Wine Festival is Saturday from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. in Appomattox. The festival will feature eight local wineries, food, craft vendors, and live music by the Surrender band. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, which includes a souvenir wine glass.  

If you're really hungry on Saturday, there's the Roanoke Wing Fest in Elmwood Park. You can try wings from a bunch of local restaurants and enjoy live music. The fest is 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. in downtown Roanoke. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for kids younger than 12.
