Lynchburg, VA – The Greater Lynchburg Transit Company has taken a big step forward for GLTC in planning for a new bus transfer center.
Officials say they've worked out a $1.1 million deal with the property owner where the old ACS building sits on Kemper Street.
This site was one of several options GLTC had been considering in the Hill City. It ended up at the top of the list due to its proximity to Amtrak and Greyhound services at Kemper Street Station.
The goal is to begin construction next year.
