Lynchburg, VA - Children with disabilities got the chance to try out therapeutic tricycles at Lynchburg College's physical therapy school Friday.
Physical therapist Sue Haywood was there to show the kids how to ride the bikes.
"Today has been most rewarding because many of these children who have mobility challenges have been able to ride a bike for the first time," said Nancy Wellons, the organizer of Wheels on the James program.
Everyone who tried out the tricycles can apply to get one, then a physical therapist will evaluate them and fit them for the tricycle.
