What a game from Logan Thomas. He was nearly perfect and he needed to be or VT would have lost to Miami. Instead he accounted for FIVE TDs in a 38-35 win. It was in stark contrast to his performance against Clemson. VT's defense is a few steps away from being a 2nd string defense. They've lost Gayle, G-Winslow, A. Hopkins. All three were starters. Hopkins is done for the year. The other two appear to be questionable for Saturday against Wake. Gayle said he is "definitely going to try to give it a go on Saturday". VT's official injury report comes out Thursday.

UVa could pull of a major upset by beating GT. They're 12th in the nation and haven't lost. Al Groh returns to Cville as GT's def. coord. That should bring a few more people to the game but I still see several thousand empty seats at UVa.

Liberty faces #20 Coastal Carolina. You'll see a ton of BEAT COASTAL red shirts at Williams Stadium. Most previously injured Flames will be back. Pat Kelly is still up in the air as I type. Does LU run the table and win the conference? If they lose to Coastal I can see them losing again.

VMI is 0-5 and now plays Charleston Southern. This might be VMI's only chance at a Big South win. G-Webb and possibly Presbyterian are the others.
