Lynchburg, VA - Friends of the Lynchburg Dog Park got $2,100 this weekend at the group's latest fundraising event.
More than 150 dogs and their families showed up for Saturday's "Doggie Day Camp."
Organizers say it's not enough to put them over the $35,000 goal they need to meet to start phase one of the new dog park. But they are just glad to raise awareness about what they're trying to do.
