Jefferson Forest High School's Cavalier Theater presents "Rumors," the comedy. The play starts Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the school's auditorium. The play will run until Oct. 25. Tickets are available at the door or online for $10for adults and $6 for students.
Peaks of Otter Winery is hosting the Peak Foliage Open House on Saturday, Oct. 22 from noon to 5 p.m. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the farm, sample apples and fresh cider, and visit the farm animals. You can also try some wines for free. On Sunday, Oct. 23, they'll have the "Hollow"een Stories event where you can listen to scary tales during a short hike. Bring your flashlights if you dare! That's 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
On Oct. 22, Danville will have the first ever Witches and Wolves Dog Run at Anglers Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You and your pet can either walk or run a 5K in the woods or do the one-mile trail. The entry fee is $20 which includes food, drinks and a shirt for you and your pet.
The Roanoke Outdoor Circus will go on Friday through Sunday, Oct. 21-23 at River's Edge Sports Complex. You can pitch a tent (or rent one,) listen to local music and sample draft beer. The festival encourages healthy, active activities and celebrates everything outdoors.
