Honor all who've served in the U.S. Armed Forces on Friday, November 11 at the Veterans Day Ceremony in Bedford. The program starts at 11 a.m. and will have music and guest speakers at the National D-Day Memorial. That's free and open to everyone.
If you like blues music, Ellington Fridays will feature The Deanie Blues Band on Friday, Nov. 11. Tickets are $10 and doors open at 5:30 p.m. The band will play 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Go out to support Lynchburg's new basketball team at the season opener this weekend. The Lynchburg Legends will play Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. at the Lynchburg City Armory. Tickets are 8 dollars for adults and 5 for children.
The fourth annual Bright Leaf Brew Fest is Saturday, Nov. 12 from 3 to 8 p.m. The event will be at Danville's historic Community Market, and you'll be able to sample from more than 100 different beers. There will also be live music, vendors and tons of food. Tickets are $19 in advance or $25 at the door.
