Students at Northeastern State University are celebrating World AIDS Day.
Student organizations raised money to bring part of the Memorial AIDS quilt to campus.
The school hosted an unfolding ceremony in the University Center Ballroom. The names of people who died of AIDS are read out loud as each panel of the quilt is slowly unfolded.
The six panels were then taken to designated locations that included the NSU Tahlequah Campus Library, Broken Arrow Campus Library, HawkReach Counseling Center in Tahlequah, Riverhawk Shoppe in Tahlequah and the School of Optometry in Tahlequah.
Free HIV testing will be offered during the week on NSU's Tahlequah Campus.
