In Lynchburg the Academy of Fine Arts is putting on "Dancing with Strings and Christmas Things." The show will have great dancers, musicians and a choir and it'll be on Saturday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults and $13 for students.

The Old City Cemetery will have its annual Christmas Open House Dec. 17 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cemetery will be decorated for the holidays, and you can get cider and cookies in the cemetery center.

Come out to listen to your favorite holiday music at the Danville Symphony Orchestra Christmas Concert. The group will play on Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. at George Washington High School.

In Roanoke, the History Museum of Western Virginia has its annual Fantasyland event going on. Your family can go meet Santa as he shares stories, sings and even plays the piano. Fantasyland is at the Dumas Center and admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The event goes on until December 23rd and you can get the complete schedule on Fantasyland's brochure.
