Lovingston, VA - They lost their stash of turkeys after a freezer busted, but now the Nelson County Food Pantry gets a happy ending with enough donations to cover their Christmas needs.
The community donated enough to buy 3,700 pounds of turkey for Christmas.
Last month, all their turkeys spoiled less than 24 hours before distribution day, so Nelson County community members stepped in to help.
This Saturday they are passing out food, and volunteers say they're expecting a 10 % increase in the amount of people they'll help.
