OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder release guard Nate Robinson one day before the start of the shortened NBA regular season.

The move puts Oklahoma City at the mandatory 15-man roster.

Robinson appeared in four games for the Thunder last season after being traded from the Boston Celtics and now becomes an unrestricted free agent.
