Lynchburg, VA – A Lynchburg-based company will have a very profitable 2012.
Banker Steel says it has been awarded contracts for three projects that total about $100 million.
The company will provide 18,000 tons of structural steel to build a medical center and another 5,250 tons for a public safety answering center in New Orleans.
The third contract is for 4,000 tons for construction of a new museum building in New York City.
All of the steel will be fabricated at Banker Steel's two Lynchburg facilities.
