Ballou Park in Danville is hosting its Holiday Open House this Friday, January 13 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. You'll have a chance to see what coming up at the park in 2012. There will be some fun activities, guest presenters and light refreshments.
In Roanoke, Rascal Flatts are performing at the Roanoke Civic Center January 13. The popular country music band hits the stage at 7:30 p.m. and there aren't that many tickets left. Prices for tickets range from about $40 to $60.
January 16 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and in its honor, the Lynchburg Museum and Point of Honor are offering free admission. You can go Monday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and even get a guided tour at Point of Honor.
Looking for formal gowns for a great deal? The YWCA in Lynchburg is hosting its annual Prom Dress Super Sale January 14. You can find prom and formal dresses starting at $10, and that's Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
