Debbie BradneyLynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg College professor has a big award to add to her resume.
Debbie Bradney was named Educator Of The Year by the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association. She spent the last 10 years teaching Athletic Training at LC.
The person who nominated her, a fellow teacher, calls her an exceptional professional dedicated to improving athletic training not only for her students, but for all students.
Bradney says she's flattered by the compliment.
"It was a great honor because the person who nominated me is another faculty member here. And she is an outstanding teacher. So, for her to say that someone's good at something, she doesn't give compliments very often," she said.
Another Lynchburg College professor, Dr. Patricia Aronson, was inducted into the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association Hall of Fame.
