Penske Racing enters 2012 off a strong season from a year ago, both its drivers making the Chase. Kurt Busch has moved on, but rising star Brad Keselowski returns with a new teammate. "I might not have any baby news or girls in heels up here, but we do have, we do have some really important racing news," Keselowski said.
Keselowski got in a one-liner about media tour stops for Kevin Harvick and Danica Patrick. The 27-year-old young gun is beaming with confidence after winning three times last year, making his first Chase and finishing FIFTH in the final points. "I mean nothing surprises me good or bad. But it certainly surprised a few of you guys and that felt good. I like doing that."
And the driver of the Blue Deuce isn't shy about his next goal. "Win a Sprint Cup. That's where it's at."
A.J. Allmendinger is the new driver for the 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge. The 30-year-old comes over after a solid season driving the famed 43 for Richard Petty, finishing 15th in points. "I know this, it's now or never. And I'm not blind to know the expectations that are on me. But it's more on the expectations that are on myself." This is Allmendinger's sixth Cup season, he's hoping to nail down that FIRST Sprint Cup win.
