Police Identify Man Killed in Collision on I-81

Rockbridge Co., VA - Virginia State Police officials have identified the truck driver who was killed in a wreck on I-81 Monday night.

Brian McEwen, 28 of Birmingham, Alabama died in the crash in Rockbridge County.

Officials say he drove a truck for a company out of Alabama.

The Rockbridge County Public Safety Director released some pictures of the accident. .

Police crews responded to the scene about 6:30 p.m. They say two big rigs collided and caught on fire.

The northbound lanes were closed for more than 13 hours.
