Danville, VA.- If you're thinking about a career in the arts, you may be interested in attending Averett University's "Arts@Averett Scholarship Day" February 25.
Whether you sing, play an instrument, paint, draw, or love to act, Averett may have a scholarship for you.
Scholarship amounts range in amounts from $1,000 to $3,000.
Registration starts at 11:30 a.m., and organizers ask that you bring your music, accompaniment, song, instruments and art portfolios to show off your skills and talents.
A complimentary dinner will be served at 5 p.m., and all who attend can stay to see a live play put on by the Averett Players at 7:30 p.m.
