Drivers Like Making Fines Public

NASCAR's decision to do away with secret fines has been applauded by Sprint Cup drivers. Most agree making the penalties public like other major sports is the way to go.

Kevin Harvick, THIRD IN POINTS IN 2011, said "It's just something that's gonna be open now. And you know you just have to not watch what you say, just don't be a jerk about it towards the sanctioning body."

Jeff Burton, 20TH IN POINTS IN 2011, said "Every other sport does it and they don't have major backlash from it.  And you know if you have a problem, you can go to them and talk to 'em.  I mean they may not side with you but they will listen to you."
