The VHSL has released an initial proposal for district realignment and if it's carried out the Western Valley District would disappear in 2013.
G.W. and Halifax would move to the Piedmont.
Franklin County would join the Seminole District.
The realignment would split Roanoke rivals William Fleming and PH. Fleming would go to the Blue Ridge and PH to the River Ridge.
Again this is a proposal and changes could be made to this plan.
