Ladies-- come out Friday, February 10, to honor Lynchburg pioneers and celebrate women at the 11th annual Gathering of Goddesses. You'll get dinner made from favorite local restaurants, an open wine and beer bar, and relaxing spa and health services. The event will be at Amazement Square on from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m., and reservations are $115.
The Lynchburg Bridal Expo is Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Holiday Inn Downtown. You can plan out your special day at the event from noon - 4 p.m. You can meet with more than 65 area wedding professionals including photographers, caterers and florist.
Valentine's Day is next week, and this is your last chance to get reserve a fabulous night at a discounted rate. The Craddock-Terry hotel is hosting, "From Paris, in Love" next Tuesday, Feb. 14 The romantic evening will feature food from Shoemaker's Grill and a performance from The MarkMiller Band. That's 7 p.m. to 11p.m. and it's $65 for singles or $120 per couple, but you have to reserve your place by Tuesday. You can get tickets here.
Feb, 11, the Lynchburg Community Market will have the 2012 Chocolate Challenge. You can enter your tasty chocolate creation in the contest by Wednesday, Feb. 8. Anyone can taste the treats for $5, and that's from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
