Lynchburg - Austin Chillemi scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and added two steals to help lead Lynchburg College to a 63-56 ODAC victory at Randolph College Wednesday night.
It would be tight throughout and was still just a two-point game until just over three minutes left when Lynchburg ran off eight straight points to build its lead to 10.
Randolph could not recover. Colton Hunt led the WildCats with 19, Derrick Woods-Morrow added 17, Mike Ehilegbu 15. Chillemi's 20 points led Lynchburg with Manny Hernandez chipping in 11, Xavier Parham 10.
With the win, the Hornets improve to 14-and-9, 8-and-6 in the ODAC. Randolph drops to 10-and-12 overall, 5-and-8 in the ODAC.
