WSET.com - ABC13Teen Who Escaped Kidnappers Honored in General Assembly

Richmond, VA - The Campbell County boy who was held hostage in the Philippines for months last year is part of a special ceremony in Richmond Thursday.

Delegate Kathy Byron is honoring Kevin Lunsmann during Thursday's House of Delegates session. She has drafted a House Joint Resolution that commends Kevin for his bravery.

He and his mother were abducted in the Philippines last July. She was released in October and he managed to escape from his kidnappers in December.
