Lynchburg - Girls action at V.E.S., the Bishops hosted the Carlisle Chiefs out of Martinsville.
Carlisle took control of this one early, Kindall Allred buried two of her nine points. Maggie Moomaw had a big scoring night for V.E.S., dropping in 23.
But the Chiefs ran up a 31-point lead at the half 44-13 and cruised to a big win. Courtney Puckett led Carlisle with 28 points, Krista Frazier added 13. V.E.S. plays at L.C.A. Friday night at 6:30.
