Crews Respond to Water Issue in Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg utility crews are working on a water issue that is affecting the Wards Road area Friday.

The city says a contractor hit a 12-inch water main on the Liberty University campus.

The affected area includes the area surrounding River Ridge Mall, Sheffield Drive, Seminole Avenue, Atlanta Avenue and Fort Avenue.

Residents in the area are asked to run their cold water only for at least three minutes.
