Danville, VA -- A Danville couple was blessed with twins a week and a half ago, but the circumstances around their birth were pretty unique.
Savannah was born 46 minutes before Sierra. In fact, the girls were born in two different months. Savannah on January 31 and Sierra on February 1. Their mother Lisa was also born on February 1, so that means Lisa was 30 when she had Savannah and 31 when she had Sierra.
"It's kind of rare, like she said. And it's something they will be able to look back and see they are two different people, two different birthdays, two different months. It's all just kind of ironic," said Travis Buchanan, the father.
And to add to the confusion, Savannah, the one born in January, was born on her grandfather's birthday.
