Lynchburg, VA - The Holiday Inn in downtown Lynchburg transformed into a scene from a story book Sunday. The Lynchburg Bridal Expo is a wedding fairytale that is filled with brides to be and some who've recently tied the knot.
Newlywed Lyndsay Demshar is a woman who knows what she wants.
"I basically told (my husband) that he was gonna like me, love me and marry me, and he basically said 'you're crazy lady!' but I had it my way. I won!," Lyndsay Demshar said.
"Really, honestly, not just her looks, her personality, she's got an awesome personality," Lyndsay's husband, Kevin Demshar said.
Kim Jennings put together the Lynchburg Bridal Show so newlyweds like the Demshars decided to help out.
"You can plan a wedding in two or three months, you can plan a wedding in a few weeks, but brides they tend to want to have every little detail," Producer of Lynchburg Bridal Expo Kim Jennings said.
"The whole bridal show is winter wonderland that's actually the theme of my wedding. I was like we can do a wedding like that in the summer somehow," bride-to-be Natasha Scott said.
Scott says her August wedding wouldn't be complete without one little detail everything and anything winter.
"They're doing a fake snow; it's a different kind of snow they're gonna do for the wedding," Scott said.
And every wedding needs romantic music.
"Being able to play for weddings is wonderful for me. I just enjoy sharing that intimacy and bond with other people," harp player Sarah Enochs said.
To Enochs, weddings aren't complete without her harp.
"It really adds such a heavenly noise to it, and it's very peaceful, but at the same time you can make it very lively walking up the aisle," Enochs said.
And don't forget, it takes two to get married.
"Plan your wedding together. it's the two of you, not just one person (and) take a deep breath and enjoy it, it'll all be there, and it goes by so quick," Demshar said.
Of course, planning that dream wedding takes lots of time.
The brides to be who came out Sunday, most of them will wed next winter and even next spring! Wedding planners recommend to book your venue and get all your vendors together early!
