Charlottesville, VA - A second week of testimony has started in the murder trial of George Huguely.

After four days of testimony, the prosecution is continuing to make its case in the Huguely murder trial. Prosecutors say they are close to resting their case but will continue to question at least one more witness Tuesday morning.

The judge broke for the day at 5:30 p.m. Monday's testimony again focused on medical findings. It's no coincidence the prosecution has saved the medical examiner for the end of their case.

Typically in murder trials, the ME is one of the first to testify. But this case is different because the defense is questioning the official cause of death.

Prosecutors are clearly hoping to keep their evidence fresh in the minds of the jury. The official cause of death has been ruled as blunt force trauma to the head.

Once the defense takes over, several doctors and toxicology experts are expected to make a link between Love's use of the prescription drug Adderall and possible heart failure.

We believe the defense will begin presenting its evidence as early as Tuesday morning. They have about 30 people on their witness list.

One big mystery we still don't know is if we'll see George Huguely take the stand. So far, his attorneys have not played their hand. Most seem to think he will not.
